Corrections & Retractions Policy
Introduction
Journal of Azzaytuna University (JAZU) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. The journal therefore takes appropriate action when errors, inaccuracies, or ethical violations are identified in published articles.
This policy aims to ensure transparency, correct scientific and editorial errors, and protect the reliability and integrity of the published scholarly record.
Correction
A Correction is published when a limited error is identified in a published article and the error does not materially affect the scientific results or conclusions.
The purpose of a correction is to clarify and amend the published information while preserving the integrity of the original scholarly record and ensuring that the corrected information is clearly available to readers.
Retraction
The journal may issue a Retraction when the published information, data, or results are found to be substantially unreliable, or when serious research misconduct is established that materially compromises the integrity of the scholarly record.
Substantial errors that compromise the reliability of the results.
Established plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or other serious violations.
Protection of the integrity and reliability of the published scholarly record.
Expression of Concern
The journal may publish an Expression of Concern when serious concerns arise regarding the validity, integrity, or reliability of a published article, but the investigation has not yet been completed and a final decision cannot reasonably be made.
This measure is intended to alert readers to significant concerns about a published article while the relevant investigation or verification process is ongoing.
Duplicate Publication
Journal of Azzaytuna University does not accept duplicate publication or the publication of substantially the same research in more than one journal without appropriate disclosure and a justified scholarly reason.
The same research should not be substantially published in more than one journal without appropriate disclosure and justification.
The same manuscript must not be submitted to more than one journal simultaneously.
Authors must disclose any previous publication or closely related content relevant to the submitted manuscript.

The Editorial Board of Journal of Azzaytuna University is committed to making decisions concerning corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern in a fair, independent, transparent, and evidence-based manner, taking into account the nature of the issue and its potential impact on the scholarly record.
The journal seeks to document relevant actions and provide readers with clear information whenever necessary, thereby maintaining trust in the integrity and reliability of the published scholarly record.
