The mission of the JAZU is to publish original, high-quality research and scholarly studies across the fields and disciplines within the journal’s scope, in accordance with rigorous scientific and ethical standards and fair, transparent peer-review procedures.

The journal seeks to make scientific knowledge accessible to researchers, academics, and interested readers; encourage outstanding scholarly production; support researchers throughout their academic careers; and promote scientific communication and collaboration among researchers, universities, and academic and research institutions locally, regionally, and internationally.
