Serological Evaluation of Helicobacter pylori Infection and Its Association with ABO Blood Groups

البكتيريا اللولبية من الممرضات واسعة الانتشار عالميًا، وترتبط بالعديد من الأمراض المعدية للجهاز الهضمي، بما في ذلك التهاب المعدة، والقرحة الهضمية، وسرطان المعدة. وتشير بعض الدراسات إلى أن مستضدات فصائل الدم ضمن نظام أي بي أو قد تلعب دورا في قابلية الاصابة بالعدوى. الهدف: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم الأجسام المضادة للبكتيريا اللولبية للكشف عن العدوى، ودراسة العلاقة بين معدل الإصابة وفصائل الدم ضمن نظام أي بي أو. المواد والطرق: شملت الدراسة 95 مريضًا من مدينة طرابلس يعانون من أعراض عسر الهضم. جُمعت عينات البراز والمصل للكشف عن عدوى البكتيريا باستخدام اختبارات مناعية معيارية، كما جرى تحديد فصائل الدم بطريقة التلازن التقليدية. اجري التحليل الإحصائي لتقييم العلاقة بين إيجابية الأجسام المضادة للجرثومة وفصائل الدم والعمر والجنس. النتائج: أظهرت النتائج أن الاناث هن الاكثر اصابة بالبكتيريا وأن 41.5% من المشاركين كانوا إيجابيي الأجسام المضادة للبكتيريا. وبيّنت الدراسة أن فصيلة الدم (أو)كانت الأكثر شيوعًا بين المصابين (49%)، تلتها فصيلة(أي) بنسبة (31%)، ثم (بي) بنسبة (11%)، و (أي بي) بنسبة (11%). ورغم أن العدوى كانت أكثر شيوعًا لدى حاملي فصيلة الدم (أو)، الا ان الفرق لم يكن ذا دلالة إحصائية. الاستنتاج: تشير النتائج إلى وجود ميلٍ لارتفاع معدل العدوى بجرثومة المعدة لدى الافراد ذوي الفصيلة (أو)، غير ان غياب الدلالة الإحصائية يوحي بأن عوامل أخرى، مناعية وبيئية، قد تساهم في القابلية للإصابة. ويوصى بإجراء دراسات أوسع لتوضيح العلاقة المحتملة بين فصائل الدم والاستعداد المناعي للعدوى بالبكتيريا المعدية.
